Who We Are
Dharma Buddies is a meditation group serving primarily gay, bisexual, transgender, gender-nonconforming, and queer men. We are a diverse group with a wide range of backgrounds and experience with Buddhist and other spiritual teachings. We endeavor to practice deep listening and mindful speech as we share insights and discuss questions relative to our lives as queer Buddhists. We welcome anyone on a spiritual path including curious beginners, seasoned practitioners, and those from traditional Buddhist cultures. As of 2022 Dharma Buddies is registered as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization
How To Join
Dharma Buddies has shifted to meeting primarily online via Zoom since the beginning of the pandemic. Our normal meeting time is every Sunday at 11:00am. We do not currently have any regularly scheduled in-person meetings, but this is subject to changed based on the desires of the group. Our fall retreat has been in person for the last several years and we are planning to have one again in the fall of 2024! Click the ‘Calendar’ button below to see a list of our upcoming meetings.
